A mecca of spiritiual centers lies rather unsuspecting, in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, just south of Crestone, CO. The hike (or drive) alone north from the Baca can be a meditative experince.  Reaching the Stupa at the top of the trail beneath an array of prayer flags, looking over the expanse of the San Luis Valley, one finds an ideal location for reflection.
